The Oral-Gut conference was a milestone in my scientific career. I got to know renowned experts in the field and learned about state-of-the-art techniques. I had the chance to present my work for the first time and received great feedback from the audience. I also made connections with colleagues from all around the world. It is wonderful that they support young scientists from underrepresented countries, promoting diversity. I highly recommend this conference!

The Oral-Gut conference exceeded all my expectations. From a scientific standpoint, the knowledge shared by the speakers was simply invaluable. It not only allowed me to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in the field, but it also provided me with the unique opportunity to interact and network with leading researchers, whose work I had admired for years. Presenting my own work was one of the most enriching parts. I received exceptionally constructive feedback from a highly knowledgeable audience, which gave me clear and concrete ideas to improve and enrich my doctoral thesis project. Furthermore, the discussions that arose during the sessions were the spark for developing innovative ideas for future lines of research. In summary, the Oral Gut Conference was a deeply inspiring experience. Without a doubt, I will do everything possible to attend the next edition, Oral Gut 3.

The OralGut conference was such an inspiring event! It was Incredible to finally meet and exchange ideas with researchers whose papers I had read and who once felt so distant and this event made it possible. All trainees had the chance to connect directly with mentors in an open and supportive environment. With experts from all over the world, the discussions around the oral–gut field were truly enriching. I feel grateful to have received a grant to be part of this amazing experience. This conference was not only scientifically valuable but also deeply motivating for me as a young researcher.
